BG Construction Method
(Multifunctional Large-Diameter Drilling Method)

This method uses the BG drilling machine manufactured by the German company Bauer. The self-propelled drilling machine is a multifunctional hydraulic large-diameter drilling machine and is equipped with a high torque rotary head and drilling machine with high press power. The machine is intended for multi-type foundation construction work with its strong torque and press force. Thanks to its strong drilling force using casing rotations, it realizes efficient drilling for various projects, including drilling in hard soil/rock ground and removal of existing piles and obstacles in the ground by combining attachments (auger drill, drilling bucket, core tube, etc.) with the top of the Kelly bar of the drilling machine, best suited for the purpose of use. When existing obstacles in the predetermined depth are completely removed, the inside of the casing is backfilled with good quality soil or cement milk, and then the casing is pulled from the ground.
Using the BG drilling machine, obstacles that are completely removed from the ground can be returned to the ground, which causes fewer effects on the surrounding ground and subsequent work. It is also effective when removing obstacles in the boundary because it does not require much distance from the boundary of siting.

Characteristics

  1. High-torque turning force realizes excavation of rock ground, bounding stone, and cobbled stone, as well as cutting of reinforced concrete.
  2. It has fewer effects on the surrounding ground because the casing tube protects drilled holes while excavation progresses inside the ground.
  3. The cobbled stone and obstacles inside the casing tube can be completely removed by the hammer grab.
  4. Able to work in a place relatively close to the adjacent building and siting boundary.
  5. Casing drilling realizes high verticality thanks to its rigidity. It demonstrates superior performance in friction cut because it rotates in entire circumference.
  6. Superior mobility is achieved by the self-propelled feature.
